At Key Autism Services, we’re not just dedicated to providing exceptional ABA therapy; we’re deeply committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve. Our company provides ABA services across Massachusetts, Illinois, Colorado, Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee, and we believe that meaningful connections and community involvement is a vital part of our commitment to serving autistic individuals and their dedicated families. Our partnerships and local initiatives are designed to foster inclusivity, support, and engagement for autistic individuals and their families.

Public Safety Partnerships

Safety is a top priority, especially for our autistic clients who may have unique needs. That’s why we collaborate with local fire departments and police departments across our service areas to host safety-oriented events and learning activities. These events are designed to familiarize children with emergency procedures in a supportive and non-threatening environment.

Local Libraries

Libraries are an important part of our local communities. Our partnerships with local libraries enhance the library experience for autistic children. Through story times and other library-based events, we create a welcoming environment where children can enjoy books and listening to stories, enriching their experiences at the library. At Key, we find it vital that children are included in the community and their families are welcomed.

Sensory-Friendly Playdates

In Massachusetts, our collaboration with Central Mass Moms led to a series of sensory-friendly playdates held at our center. These playdates provided a safe and supportive space where children could explore, play, and interact with others in a sensory-friendly environment. These events are a testament to our commitment to creating inclusive spaces where every child can thrive and opening our center doors to the community when possible.

Educating the Community

Understanding Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) can be complex and there is much to teach our communities about ABA and autism. Our ABA-101 presentations break down the science into basic concepts that anyone can understand and even apply. These presentations are helpful for both caregivers and educators.

Sensory-Friendly Events

Children’s museums offer a world of discovery, and we’re proud to support sensory-friendly events at several of the local museums, trampoline parks and gyms in our regions. These events are tailored to accommodate sensory needs, ensuring that every child can enjoy the experience without feeling overwhelmed. It’s all about making sure that learning and exploration are accessible to everyone.

A Thank You to Our Staff

None of these community initiatives would be possible without our dedicated staff, whose passion is demonstrated with every event with our community partners. Throughout planning these events and executing these events, our staff is enthusiastic and excited to work with community members.

At Key Autism Services, we are proud of our community involvement and the positive impact we have through our various partnerships and events. We believe building connections, supporting families, and creating inclusive spaces where every individual can thrive is a part of our mission as an organization. We look forward to continuing our work in the community and exploring new opportunities to support and celebrate the autism community.

Stay tuned for more updates on our upcoming events and partnerships.
