The Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) certification is a paraprofessional certification in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior-analytic services and practice under the direction and close supervision of an RBT Supervisor and/or RBT Requirements Coordinator who is responsible for their work.
To become a Registered Behavior Technician, you must complete a 40-hour training program which is offered at no cost through Key Autism Services. After completion, you will complete an in-person assessment at one of our ABA centers and compile documents required for the BACB (licensing board). After approval, you will take an exam at a Pearson testing location to become officially license. Clickhere for more information regarding BACB requirements.
